Preface: 30,000 feet above sea level and on my way to Europe! Life is good. I look down at my black flight attendant’s uniform. This size 10 fits well. I adorned it with my brass name plate and set it off with my minimal but pricey jewelry. Life is great. I glanced over at my Bible book case and smiled hard. That bag held my life and my salvation. In that bag held my whole future and my hope. Life is wonderful. As our country struggles with the results of the most crippling mismanagement of the American financial system since the Great Depression, Americans are showing an increased level of stress and desperation. There is a clear distinction between those persons who commit atrocities because of mental illness, misguided political and religious doctrine, undeniable hate crimes and then there’s the basis for telling my story; the atrocities of my childhood that made me plan to take my own life. Suicide is a deceptive devise of satan. Even I was deceived by this renegade spirit. My walk down that dark corridor of human desperation could have left me a forgotten statistic. Instead, I now live and serve in the light of the teachings of Jesus Christ who delivered me from suicide. As a Disciple of Christ, I offer my healing from incestuous sins, multiple marriages, emotional instability and a soul deep self-hatred that was only matched by the resentment I felt from my children. I am today victorious over all the odds that were against me because the Word, the Faith and the Ministry of Jesus Christ work. Each page of this book represents a true story. Each page of this story will test your own sense of responsibility for our children—the most vulnerable, poor and needy among us. Because of the way my captivity to a death wish was turned miraculously by Jesus Christ, I believe even more in the existence of angels. The thought adds yet another smile to my day. I had spent the majority of my life fighting for my self-worth, fighting for my sanity and fighting for my very life. God placed his earthly angels in my life at the moments when I was dying. In this book you will realize who could be your earthly Angel. By God drawing me to His Son, Jesus Christ, I learned how to listen to the voice of God. His Word, the Holy Bible, taught me how He speaks to me. The anointing of the Holy Spirit taught me how God directs events in my life to keep satan from destroying me and you. My sincere prayer is that my testimony here will serve to show children and families how much God loves you and that you are His no matter what the world brings against you. All of us are on a journey full of twists, turns, ups, and downs, like a stunt plane. On these pages I share the path of my triumphant ascent to the Consecrated Life, the Sacred Life that I no longer want to destroy. I daily seek God’s purpose for my life. I glance at my uniform again and it reminds me that I am flying. My uniform represents my new membership in an elite group of flight attendants serving passengers around the globe. That membership can’t be compared to the membership that I have in the Kingdom of God. My story is one worth telling because grace and mercy provided for me to still be here to tell it. This is a story of my Salvation by Jesus Christ. This is a story of how He is mighty in battle against sexual atrocities that threaten to damage our children for a lifetime. Linda Bell Hannah is a Disciple of Jesus Christ. She is the mother of two adult children and has two granddaughters. Linda is a veteran of the Viet Nam Era, an AT&T retiree, businesswoman and International Flight Attendant for Omni Air International. She lives in Conyers, Georgia very near members of her family. She was born into a life of poverty and sexual cruelties, leaving her suicidal. She believes by the grace of Jesus Christ she has finally been allowed to tell someone, which has helped heal her of life long trauma caused by sexual molestation. This book begins her advocacy ministry to women in general and most specifically to all victims of sexual abuse. She is a devoted member of Spirit Led Apostolic Global Ministry, Church of No Compromise, The Latter House, co-pastors Chief Apostle Stephanie A. Sanders and Apostle Lionel Pope.

Flora Williams Anders is a Disciple of Jesus Christ. She lives in Conyers, Georgia and spends her travel time visiting her three adult children, two grandchildren and very large extended family and friends throughout the United States. She is publisher and founder of Firm Foundations Literary Ministry LLC. A published author, Spoken Word CD artist, former news editor and college administrator, she works with individuals and organizations to create literary tools to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
