Inspirations from the Heart: Seasons of Change is more than a poetry book; it is a journey of the heart. It is a book about celebration, sorrow, and challenges but most of all hope is weaved into the pages. You will experience the times of greatest happiness and be pierced with the deepest loss, you will stand breathless on the edge of a precipice while tumbling headlong into valleys.

This book is divided into six parts: Family Portraits – these poems are dedicated to different members of the author’s family. Petals of Friendship – these poems are dedicated to friends and are about the different faces of friendship. Unfolding Eternal Love – these poems are about love between husband and wife, the love ordained by God. Fallen Petals of Sorrow – these poems were written in the deep times of sorrow in the author’s life. Writing these were painful and desperate, but it was the only way she could express her sorrow. Shades of Color – these are different types and kinds of poems like Christmas poems, Patriotic poems, Sonnets and more. Unopened Packages of Hope - these poems of hope and mercy are dedicated to people, who in their situations, were divinely inspired by God.

Come and experience this journey!

BY GRACE RESTORED Broken shards of glass are laid her heart a shattered key her life in ruins, wracked with pain she longs to just be free. Her concentration camp is walled with bitterness and rage unforgiveness loudly calls "look around, this is my stage". Her rooms of life are etched with hate from some atrocity her childlike innocence the fate of man's monstrosity. With agony, her soul does ache the memories she longs to raze her suffering robbed what use to be long, sunny days carefree. Forced to walk from room to room no trophies and no pride with little left that's not consumed there's nowhere she can hide. And then one day with shocked surprise a knock rings out, her heart has cried, "It's him! It's him! He's at the door, there is no mercy ever more." Her heart is fragile, her strength is frail, with trembling hand, and face gone pale, she reaches out to grasp the door not knowing what's in store. A prayer so silent on her breath with courage in the face of death unlocking, turning, grasping for that heavy prison door. For just a moment, gripped with fear, her vision blurred and not so clear, for shining light deeply it pours where once was dark interior. Looking down a box she found, she opened it to see, gently, tenderly unbound restored, lay her hearts key. Then she fell onto her knees the ground to meet her face, for years gone by with silent plea she found her gift of grace. Beloved, are you crushed with care? Your soul in need of care? A gift awaits at your hearts door please open up, let grace restore. With love, this gift stretched out His arms was nailed up on a tree, His hands reached out to take the scars His resurecction power free. This gifted box each one awaits Jesus' mercy a price so great outside your prison door the key, to grace, He gave you bountifully.
