Katey has fun keeping secrets until one day when someone tells her a bad secret. Before long, she realizes that there are some secrets that just can't be kept and she tries to find someone to tell. Even though it takes Katey a few tries, she doesn't give up until she finally tells a person who listens.

Katey just loved secrets. She was really good at keeping secrets too. And she never gave a secret away. Katey and her Mom went shopping and bought Grandpa a bright red bike helmet. "Don't tell," said Mommy as she hid the parcel in the back of the hall closet. "Let's surprise Grandpa on his birthday." "Okay," said Katey. "Grandpa says that even wild horses couldn't drag a secret out of me!" And then she said what Grandma always said when someone shared a secret: "Someone told me a secret and I'm happy to say that I'll keep it forever, I'll never give it away."
