Deborah Stairs Rotherham attended school in Montreal were she was fortunate enough to receive art instruction from Miss Ethel Seath. Her interest in wildlife was inspired by her many years of living in the eastern Townships of Quebec, a region of lakes, rivers, farms and wooded hills with a diverse profusion of flora and fauna.
