Dead Cheap begins from the moment death is declared. The book covers some of the realities your survivors are going to have to deal with: cons, manipulation, tricks, etc.

Face it, when you are pronounced dead, your survivors are powerless (for a short time), but you can protect them. The information contained in Dead Cheap can help you make your final decisions, removing most of the stress from your survivors.

You will find in Dead Cheap traditional and unusual solutions to problems encountered when disposing of the body. A step by step exploration of the Mortuary and Crematory processes, the many pitfalls and how you can turn the tables on Salesmen, "well-meaning" relatives, guilt trips and trauma, now while you are still alive.

If you are a responsible adult with survivors, no matter how young you might be, you need to take a few hours and protect your loved ones.

My feeling is that you should never retire! In order to stay alive you should work until you die!

Successful and timely planning, not for retirement but for rechargement is the main thrust of this book. It will show you step by step how I did it, along with dozens of intriguing case examples of 'others' experience. When The Anti-Retirement Book does its job, it will help you structure a plan tailored to your personal circumstances and needs that will, as you get older, make you more productive, exciting, and have fun filled years in the future. You can design your own destiny on your own terms and within your own time frame.

This book is geared to people well in advance of the so called "retirement" age. It makes it clear that the main problem for most people heading there is not financial. At least equally important is how to occupy one's time in an organized way with productive physical and mental activity. And most important, how to plan well to make this happen.

Norman Mailer put it simply enough: "Boredom slays more of existence than war." If boredom is retirement's arch enemy, its antidote is diversity. Studies bear out repeatedly that variety sparks interest and excitement. It also presents the challenge of change.

Excerpted from www.babyboomers-seniors.com, review by Anita Finley:

Many Years ago, I met Robert Levison and was quite impressed with him and the powerful influence he had in his community of Boca Raton. After he wrote this book, I knew why I admired him so much. This is his philoshophy: "My feeling is that you should never retire! In order to stay alive you should work until you die!"

...In writing the retirement book, Bob approaches the project with missionary zeal. "It has long depressed me" Levinson says, "to see so many fine people who could be happily and productively employed wasting what could be the best years of their lives." This in a nutshell is the basic theme of the book. Bob's vast experience qualifies him to review, assess and help readers tailor to their personal needs and desires . . . the wealth of fruitful options accessible. Bob Levison is a management and marketing specialist. But more than that, he is a RETIREMENT specialist. "When you get the urge" he believes, "follow it." This explains why he has many careers.

Excerpted from a column by Humberto & Georgina Cruz

Driving from Vero Beach to Port Everglades to go on a cruise, we had only 30 minutes to stop in Boca Raton and see Robert Levinson at Lynn University.

...as he talked, his brown eyes gleaming, we could sense he was right in his element, feeling just enough pressure to get a thrill out of it.

I've talked to doctors about this. In order to live a good life you must always have a degree of pressure on you," said Levinson, who at 78 - he turns 79 on Friday - has served as a vice president of the Boca Raton shcool for more than 12 years.

What Levinson refers to as "pressure" other people might simply call "structure," or having a specific activity at a specific time. And many retirees may find enjoyment in leisure activities and hobbies Levinson doesn't much care about.

But none of this takes away from the wisdom of his advice: Always be thinking of what you'll do next, including when you reach the traditional "retirement" age. Even if it isn't work, know what it is you want to do, or you may find yourself without a reason for living.

Why this book? Most books on Retirement are really about Financial Planning or Estate Planning. Not this book! This book is about creating a fulfilling life in retirement; it is a crossover book between self-help and retirement. Create Your Retirement: 55 Valuable Ways to Empower the Rest of Your Life entices people to set out their hidden dreams, to reveal their lost hopes and to admit their secret desires, and then to plan a life to include them! This book encourages risk taking, honesty, and trusting yourself and others to make a fulfilling life in retirement. This book is aimed at those already retired, and it entices the Baby Boomers who are now retiring in ever increasing numbers. These Baby Boomers have had everything, done everything and will continue to be a driving force in their retirement. They also have a deep hunger to be fulfilled. Many of them have led fast, hectic, shallow lives and they have never explored their souls or their dreams. This book invites them to do both! Create Your Retirement: 55 Valuable Ways to Empower the Rest of Your Life encompasses my own experience. I have retired twice AND I am having the time of my life doing the things I've always wanted to do - following my dreams! I know that retirement can be the most fulfilling time of life. My coaching clients have left their stereotypical thinking behind, thrown off their insecurities and fears to do great things! They have become computer literate, published authors, public speakers and lay preachers. Some have traveled to places they had always dreamed about, others have stepped into roles with family and friends in important new ways that have given them a sense of self-worth and deep feelings of fulfillment. Retirement is a time of living and doing exciting things; it is a time of loving and helping others, and it is about finding the 'real you' within and manifesting that in all its glory! For more information about the book please visit www.bmwalker.com TESTIMONIALS I love the way you lead the reader through the book with powerful questions and real-life examples. Until recently, research on late adulthood has focused on men. This book views the aging process in women age fifty and beyond in their vintage years (so named because people of this age are aging to perfection like vintage wine). Twenty-five women between the ages of 50 and 90 describe their own experiences dealing with the nine developmental tasks typical of late adulthood, revealing the "inner process" of aging not before recognized by researchers in the psychology of late adulthood. The words of these women belie the common belief that aging means catastrophe and endless decline physically and emotionally. The "voices" of these women reveal aging as the full flowering of a process of growth that started at conception.
