As you learn about life, you know that an encounter with death is in your future. Most of us don't know when that moment will come. This book presents a collection of short stories based on actual events of death encounters and life threatening situations. The stories are told from the spiritual perspective of the authors Christian Beliefs. With the exception of the Georgia State Trooper in a senseless act of violence, the names of the characters and places have been fictionalized by the author. Any similarities to actual events, any person or place is strictly confidential.

The fictional story, running out of time, reveals the drama of a bad decision by a police officer and the horrible consequences repaid on his close friends, who try to help him out in a jam. All of the fictional stories were constructed from the author's imagination and based on hid Christian religious education and reading the holy bible.

Jezebel: Her Unveiling was written to aid people in solving the problems of todays families.

It recognizes the disfunctional family as being more the normal family type going back to the time of Adam and Eve to the mixed family of Jacob. The book reveals the real source behind the misunderstanding between husbands and wives and the rebellion in the children. It also gives the biblical direction for a solution to this disfunction so there may be a solid, unified family unit living in peace, harmony, and victory over the destructive forces of Satan.

Jezebel: Her Unveiling reveals how Satan has interfered and brought confusion to God's perfect plan for His church. It brings the revelation to what formats the Lord used in the writings of the Bible, giving illustrations to be used when reading the Bible. People can the gain an understanding of the message God has given for each individual, family, and His Church.

Lastly, this book shows the works of Jezebel in endtime prophecy. In the books of Revelation, Daniel, and in the words spoken by Jesus about the Endtime, we are given explanations of endtime events. This book allows the Bible to explain itself with the true understanding of some of these prophecies, allowing the reader to be enlightened with wisdom as given by the Holy Spirit. They are probably nothing like you've seen or heard or seen before having their foundation revealed in to Torah lesson of the Law of Moses.

The search for understanding the meaning of the self and the nature of the Supreme Being has been the nub problem in history. Although these concepts have been expounded in all ages by innumerable philosophers, theologians, and other writers, the fact that they still remain nebulous indicates that more work is warranted in these perennial areas.

The Nature of Man and God deals with these two fundamental issues in a clear, concise, and down-to-earth manner. As a psychologist, the author has spent some thirty years investigating the issues in question. The study of the self led him, willy-nilly, to the reality of something that William James called "a More," or something that is popularly known as God. The author found close affinity between the reality of the self and the reality of the Deity. Owing to this affinity, the author proposes that a more palpable way of knowing the Deity is to know one's own true self. On the subject of the self. the author distinguishes between two types: a nominal self, which is a mere echo of the early experiences of the individual, and a transcendental self. the latter can be realized only when human beings set themselves to unlearn what they have been taught on such matters, rely on their inner resources, and become their own gurus-instead of following the instructions of self-proclaimed authorities.

Regarding the Divine nature, the author puts forth several challenging new theses. In particular, he enlarges on matters relating to ultimate concerns, the human task, freedom of will, responsibility, and theodicy, explicating why there is evil and suffering in the world.

The book invites the reader to reach for a higher plain of humanness. The topics covered are pivotal as the whole of humankind does indeed pivot around them. It is the author's conviction that none of the current personal or international crises can be effectively resolved until humans first learn who they are and what genre of supratemporal intellect powers the scheme of things in the world.

The book should appeal to multiple audiences; at a time when it seems nothing can disentangle the state of human affairs, there is a crying need for this kind of book. In particular, it should prove of great interest to all those sincerely seeking to know themselves and their God. the book also provides a workable tool for those seriously involved in improving the human lot, or those weary of on-going superficialities and trivialities of modern life.

Life as it is known requires a person to make many choices during a lifetime. Every choice will have a consequence. Those choices have a consequence for others apart from the person making the choice. This puts a heavy responsibility on a person if they consider consequence.

This book narrows it down to two choices that any person has to make. The first is being their own god and accepting what goes with it. The second is to walk with God. To worship God most people turn to a religion and put their faith in the message preached. Every religion has a doctrine that is used to keep a person on the correct path. With so many doctrines and only one God, does anyone have the answer?

This book asks many question about sacred things in our society. Many times people are afraid to question a sacred institution or worst case a person turns against God. I have answers to the questions I asked or I would not have put them forward. You can have the answers as well. I cannot, nor can anyone else give you the answer. It is between you and God. You may become a Happy Heretic.

By Al Leone

In 1993, Al Leone began to look for the answer to a simple personal riddle – why wasn’t his life working out the way he planned?  He embarked on a spiritual quest that within a few years found him deep within the Universe’s greatest mystery: how did it come into being and was some eternal essence or personality responsible for it?  Revered under many names, from Adonai, to Allah, to All That Is, he went searching for proof of the existence of God.  You are invited now to come along on his journey to unlock the secret to the riddle of the ages.

Within a powerful, contemporary sacred symbol designed in the East and known as the Izunome Cross, the answer was found and then formulated into a daring, new worldview that integrates metaphysics, mysticism, philosophy and science.

This is The Totality Of God.  Through it you will:

  • Navigate the evolution of human spirituality by using the Izunome Cross as its symbolic roadmap.
  • Explore Quadrality, the principle of four-in-one that allowed the duality of God and Universe to manifest into the four dimensions of space and time.
  • Discover the Principle of Harmonic Alignment, how all consciousness throughout the Universe resonates to four fundamental frequencies of universal oscillation.
  • Travel the Four Pathways to Light and Truth that the human race – born from that consciousness as found in the magnetic field and electric currents of its home – has taken to search for The Source.
  • Study the Theory of Harmonic Creation and its Laws of Being and Existence – a merging of Religion and Science, Faith and Evidence – to reveal what may have happened in the Universe before the laws of physics kicked in, and what now keeps it going.
  • Master the Laws of Karmic Response and Responsibility underlying the universal principle that “you reap what you sow,” and use them to reduce potential negativity incurred through one’s action and intention.
  • Learn and apply the Seven Steps to Wellbeing, a personally adaptable methodology of energy balancing that can help anyone to become their own spiritual detective and achieve a more paradise-like life.

About the Book

This book looks at the Old Testament as seen through, and applying our present day Genetics, Technological and Scientific developments.

This is perhaps the first book to acknowledge that both theories, Intelligent Design and Evolution co-exists, and both views are valid.

There is a divide between supporters of Darwin’s Theory of Evolution and believers in Intelligent Design. In the USA there is much debate on this issue. In the United Kingdom on Friday 12th September 2008, the Guardian carried an article, “Teach creationism, says top scientist”, which caused much controversy. Our Newspapers, television, internet, are constantly awash with stories of IVF, Embryo, DNA, Gene manipulation, Space Flights and Animal and Human cloning.

This would not have been thought possible at the creation of ADAM or even in Darwin’s time. But what if we were to apply all our current information to the world of 4,004 BC? What things could we interpret from the Text of the Old Testament? Amazing answers in the book.

We are now in the 21st Century, with our developing and advanced Technology in Genetics and Sciences engaging in Intelligent Design, we just cannot therefore discard the Intelligent Design that we are so rampantly practicing.

When in 1953 the structure of DNA was eventually mapped and bio-technology started to take over from philosophy in its understanding of what it is to be human, the personal became highly important in seeking a solution to the pressing problems in a modern, dynamic society. Once it was established that the building blocks of all life on this earth were the pairs of chromosomes on the DNA double helix and that the DNA segment of each human being was unique to that individual, then the authentic way forward was to respect and value this uniqueness and to promote and develop it. Human differentiation is as staggering as the trillions of millions of stars in the heavens and a unique inheritance.

Here is to hand a new contemporary language, the language of genetics, to relate science to faith. Here is a human language born out of science to equip faith to communicate with it at a time when the communication lines are down and science and faith with their rival anthropologies cannot speak to one another. Suddenly gospel texts begin to be understood in a new way: "the hairs of your head are all numbered". The underlying themes of the Bible, creation, inheritance, universal relatedness, common humanity, begin to be appreciated in a new, personal and immediate way.

Abraham, the father of faith, was called out of the comfort and security of the known into the unknown, to a land without maps. He never returned to the Oaks of Mambre. So too, genetics tells us that human existence is precarious and uncertain. Humanity took an evolutionary leap forward in discovering its true value and glory as the bringer of order in an otherwise random nature, and so we continue in history to move towards our eschatological future and the land of promise.

Reviews

From a reader at Amazon:

I would have assumed that a book on "the meaning of life" would be either a spoof or the work of a fool. It's probably fitting, therefore, that I find myself with the task of writing a review of Significance.

There are no words for the task.

Genuine authority is a rare thing. Find it here.

This is a very different sort of book on the Torah. It approaches the Torah with no awe or reverence, but with a linguist's sensitivity to language and linguistic processes - and a secular humanist's dispassionate curiosity about the central symbol of the Jewish people.

The book tells readers exactly what is in the Torah, to the extent that we can determine it. It presents the reader with a clear demarcation between translation and inference - between what the translated text actually says...and what rabbis and other Torah enthusiasts typically say that it says.

It questions centuries of Torah (and, by extension, Bible) reverence and proves, with actual Torah citations, that the supposed wisdom of the Torah is mostly the product of "rabbinical spin" - the process of transforming the simple, ancient (and in many places well-meaning) Torah text into a document of immense profundity and relevance to our times.

In one chapter, the book compares actual Torah text to a learned rabbi's statements about what the text says and means. It shows how the rabbi freely mixes his own metaphors and interpretations - and sometimes his outright inventions of material Ð together with paraphrases and quotes of actual Torah content, thereby giving the impression that the document says what it does not say.

This chapter reveals the elements of rabbinical spin and challenges the intellectual legitimacy of the tradition that identifies all this commentary and inference with "what the Torah says."

Other chapters evaluate the personality and character of God (not so good) and the relevance of the Torah's laws to contemporary society (not much).

The concluding chapter discusses the purpose of religion and argues that the secular humanistic view of the Torah is consonant with such humanistic virtues as dignity, intellectual integrity, courage, and the humanist's respect for science and reason, while the traditional attitude toward the Torah is a denial of these qualities.

The purpose of the book is to let readers know what the Torah really says, so that they can decide for themselves what its place should be in their lives.

How can the Koran be interpreted in the context of Democracy? The current conflicts between Muslim and the Christian societies illustrate the importance of such discussions. I will explain to you how the messages of the Torah, the Gospel of Jesus, and the Koran all fit together. In the process, I will explain how the Koran can be read and understood without being in confiict with the democracy and culture of the western societies. You do not necessarily have to trust me to be right. As a matter of fact, I believe the most important lesson of all is that you have to trust yourself. After all, compared to you, I am Nobody.
