The Catholic Talmud is a book of instruction in the Christian Faith. It addresses and explains the importance of sound doctrine and the act of holy prayer, an understanding of the mysteries of God and the workings of the trinity. The fifteen facts about Jesus Christ, an understanding of the realm of angelic host, their powers and the ministry of evil angels, with the final chapter ending in the understanding of man's creation and death. The Catholic Talmud is a study tool for all Catholics so as to help them explain their faith to others from a biblical point of view.

The catholic faith is defended through an analysis of several of the Gospel parables. The book discusses how these parables relate to both the Old Testament and everyday life. The Wedding Feast illustrates how faith in God and the just life are related. The Sower provides a discussion of the root causes of sin and the ways to overcome them. The Barren Fruit Tree discusses the mandate to act on the Gospel message, and the Prodigal Son shows how God bestows His infinite mercy upon those who repent and mend their ways.

Senators Kennedy and Kerry not only hail from the same state, not only serve in the same capacity, the two lawmakers also share the same religion. To many, this makes them mystery men sort of, because so little is known about the Roman Catholic Church. Their political views, their voting records, their private lives are subjects for others to deal with, and such information will not be found between these pages. What will be found is a new and comprehensive understanding of the religion to which they belong, and the doctrines they must accept and believe in order to be practicing Roman Catholics. Also contained in these pages is the answer to the key spiritual question of our time, namely: in their religious beliefs, are these famous men and their fellow Roman Catholics "under Grace," or "under the law?"

Like all of us I have been given a number of "gold coins" to invest by and for our Savior Jesus Christ. This manual on our faith and the current state of our Church is I pray a multiplication and proper use of the gifts loaned to me.

"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of working, but it is the same God who inspires them all in every one. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good." 1 Corinthians Chapter 12:4-8

I am compelled to write and compile this work for a variety of reasons. Foremost is the urgent need for an Orthodox, compelling, easy to read comprehensive source for all those who desire to teach and share our faith with our family and in our Church. It is an ideal Catechesis resource.

Working part-time with a strong sense of dedication, it has taken about five years to complete this work.

My mentor, Father John A. Hardon S.J. (Deceased: may he rest in peace.) was fond of reminding us that " we can't teach what we ourselves don't know or understand." If you wish to know a lot more about your Roman Catholic faith, you will find what you're seeking in this manual.

The book contains copies of over 150 letters that the Catholic lay author wrote to Pope Benedict XVI expressing his constructive criticism of his Church's Eucharist, a contention that it overlooks Jonah's sign to carry the message of Jesus to the unmindful world; and, due to the non-response of his spiritual leaders has forced the author to express the good-news concerning this retained Gift of God directly to all members of the Church of Christ, made up of all people created, to whom it is given.

The contention being made was also that of the Catholic New Testament scholars after the Second Vatican Council who claimed the Catholic Church's Eucharist cannot be conditioned upon anything, neither baptism nor serious sinfulness, since everyone in the world is invited by Jesus Christ to the banquet. However, based on the 1968 opinion of Fr. Joseph Ratzinger, who felt it contradicted his biblical findings, the Church's Eucharist continues to be maintained, as it had traditionally been distributed pre-Vatican II, to exclude most every human being.

Following Jesus' sign of Jonah, God's good news concerning the Catholic Church's Eucharist is hereby going global (see Luke 11:30-32 - reluctant Jonah was forced to save outsiders) to inform everyone of their invitation by God to consume of God's lifesaving heavenly meal. The author's dispute having been unresolved by his spiritual shepherds, and members of his church, has caused the author to take the issue in contention to everyone on earth as members of the body of the Church of Christ. Thus, informed, anyone created who wishes to accept their gift from God is free to share our Eucharist and gain its mysteriously divine benefits.

However, the main thrust of the book is not to attack or to disprove church doctrine per se. The main thrust is to demonstrate that, by distorting biblical passages to support its outdated doctrines, the church is creating an obstacle to a proper understanding of the Bible As a result, the moral teaching, important lessons and dire warnings that the Bible contains are either misunderstood or ignored by the vast majority of the population.

Having decoupled church doctrine from biblical understanding, The Unholy Trinity then applies an inspiriting new look at the Ten Commandments and Beatitudes to the problems, situations, moral dilemmas and key events that are all part of the human condition, thereby making the book not only enlightening, but also practical.

Finally, by linking the moral lessons and warnings contained in the Bible to the threats to our present way of life such as climate change and terrorism, The Unholy Trinity moves from a personal to a global perspective.
