IBB - Smart But Foolish REASONS HE CAN'T BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT chronicles the tenure of one of Africa’s most dreaded dictators and terrorists, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, a.k.a, IBB. It details the political, social, and economic policies of the former ruler of Africa’s most populous nation, Nigeria. A self-described “evil genius,” Babangida led Nigerians through a tortuous and deceptive political and economic transition that ended in a coup d’etat. Perhaps because of his craftiness, it wasn’t until the end of his military career that the dictator’s ruthlessness and lust for power became obvious. This volume answers most of the unresolved questions about the man known as Maradona by Nigerians. This nickname arose from his widely known skills at cheating and diverting in the same manner as Argentinean soccer genius, Diego Maradona, who infamously cheated to earn victory over England in the 1986 World Cup. Author Abejide Olusegun examines the dictator’s purported involvement in the murders of Dele Giwa, Ken Saro Wiwa, Mama Vasta, and many others, along with his frequent detention of late legal luminary, Gani Fawehinmi, and his connection to the corrupt Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI). IBB-Smart But Foolish REASONS HE CAN'T BE THE NEXT PRESIDENT attempts answer some of the riddles surrounding IBB and raise questions about any role he may have in Nigeria’s future.

(1)In a world where hate, bigotry, poverty and false hope abounds, it same as though today our children are compelled to deal with intolerance, hazing, and bullying behind the walls of our schools as if it has become a part of their school’s curriculum.

The spectacle of a young individual’s life being snuffed out in the flower of their youth is not only heartbreaking, but it’s also a disadvantage to the world for the fact that that individual was robbed the opportunity to bless the earth with their talents and gifts, in addition to those whose lives they were called to bless. Within the past ten (10) years, stories of unspeakable horrific violence have introduced us to a new meaning of the word, “Heinous”. It’s no doubt sad and mind blowing the way people’s decisions and ignorant action in they ways of living preys on the innocence of others until it is translated into violence.

Whether its persecution, rape, molestation, bullying, physical, verbal, mental, and or sexual abuse, racism, hatred, bigotry, and intolerance for reasons unknown to us, these all play major roles in our lives and often rapes and destroys a part of our being and compel the weak to translate an abundance of hurt, pain and hate into what is know to the world as, “School Massacres”.

As an outsider with a clear mind and conscience we can easily judge those who had made harsh decisions such as executing massacres and or suicide. However, placing my feet into the shoes of one who once walked the street of depression I can say that most whom had killed others didn’t really wanted to commit the act deep down in their hearts, but when one is consistently beaten, abused, teased, hazed, and having their advantage taken, your mind becomes overwhelmed with revengeful thoughts, and I guest after being ignored help, feeling hopelessly lost, one makes that desperate call to end it all, not because they wanted to die, but because they felt no one cared that they lived.

My goal as a writer is to prevent others from not only throwing in the towel, but to also strengthen and educate those who execute these behavior of the damages they cause by joining into one laugh, one haze, and push up against the wall on other’s expense.

I trust that this book would bless the lives of both future attackers and would be victims and prevent if only One massacre from succeeding or rather one to rethink committing a shooting and or suicide.

By sharing our former presidents' shortcomings and weaknesses when they were most vulnerable and naive, in addition to their strengths and successes, we allow our youth to realize it is normal and part of growing up. Why should any person be stigmatized for the rest of his life because he committed indiscretions when he was a teenager? The purpose of this book is to encourage adolescents to never give up. No one ever really knows his or her ultimate capability, and none of us has any idea what our limits truly are. Only by trying, and then trying harder, will we be able to see how much we can accomplish with our minds and bodies. The younger a person is when he recognizes that he has no mental limitations, the sooner he can rise to his full potential. There is no special training to become president. One must simply be thirty-five-years-old, a U.S. citizen, and not a convicted felon. It is true that in our inglorious past our U.S. Constitution didn't allow blacks (until the 15th Amendment in 1870 and then the Voting Rights Act of 1965) or women (until the 19th Amendment in 1920) to participate in our political democracy. Although no one from either group has yet become chief executive, each has made significant inroads into our political system. I am quite certain that we will see an African-American or a female president in the not so distant future.

This book contains a scientific discovery based on a natural psychological law which was hidden so carefully behind layers of dogma in the guise of truth that it wasn't found until now. This knowledge allows mankind, for the very first time, to veer in a different direction, creating the conditions that prevent hurt and retaliation in human relations.

The scientific discovery was made in 1959 by a self-learned man who after many years of intense study observed a universal principle never perceived before. Stumbling upon such an important finding, it was difficult for him to comprehend the magnitude of what he had uncovered. It took him many more years to transcribe his revelation into book format so it could be understood by others. When it came time to get his work published he was turned down because he was not a member of a leading university, and held no distinguishing titles. Sadly, he died in obscurity in1991, at the age of 72. Until today, his work has never been given a careful review, nor has it been widely distributed. This discovery has far-reaching implications for today's world because it prevents the conditions that lead to hurt and retaliation in human relations. For the very first time we are able to get a glimpse of a new world where there will be no war, crime, or hatred between man and man. The author made a prediction that the Golden Age would become a reality in the 20th century. Unfortunately, this did not come to pass because he was unable to reach the leading scientists of his time who could have validated his findings. Now more than ever before it is imperative that this natural law be investigated and brought to light, for the world is on the brink of a major disaster. We cannot afford to sit idly by and let others take the lead in this important investigation; otherwise, this discovery could be lost for another century. God has given mankind the basic blueprint. It is now up to us to apply it...before it is too late.

Decline and Fall of All Evil was edited and compiled by Janis Rafael.

The author employs a narrative scheme as does the Matrix, the novel Moby Dick. The story cruises through the present and the historic plight of the Jews and intermittingly brings Melville's Sea-saga with the mad Capt. Ahab, his 1st mate, Starbuck, and others in the crew: the narrator, Ishmael, his friend, the harpooner, former head-hunter, Queequeg, and Ahab's guru-confidant, Fedallah, the Parsee mystic who tells Ahab a prophetic riddle that could match the three witches conundrum in Shakespeare's Macbeth. It features twenty mini-bios of Righteous Jews, their contribution to mankind in past and present along with histories of famous Jewish dynasties. The author is stingy with words and is able to tell a lot in short spaces.

In the book, there are strong statements condemning media manipulators of all stripes as well as histories of publishing and broadcasting empires, the good and the bad, showing a diversity of ownership.

The commentary is broken into by sequential episodes direct from Moby Dick providing an oblique diversion while sometimes providing savory parables without becoming "preachy".

There are instances of the author's personal experiences such as excerpts from journals kept when he toured Israel in 1979 led by Prof. Menahem Mansoor with a group of University of Wisconsin Alumni. Also, he tells of how childhood traumas were compounded from media influences and, in time, cites chilling anti-Semitic expressions while in the US Navy.

He, a Christian, lauds his paternal grandfather, though he had died a generation before the author's birth. He had been a Nothern Civil War veteran, the Fire Chief of Bethlehim, PA and a Jewish Imigrant from Bavaria.

It is not enunciated, but Capt. Ahab, his ship, the Pequod, his world, could represent the static mind-set of insane, unconsumated revenge, launching harpoons at this preceived enemy. But on encountering Moby Dick, he is thwarted, scattered, then annihilated.

The same mind-set that launches social excesses, perversions portrayed as news, entertainment and education in today's media, may portend for great changes.

World-wide, Jews are a tiny lot and getting smaller. For Jews, extinction won't come from disturbing a sea-giant entirely, but from abandonding tradition in favor of "Reform", PC & ACLU, Absorbtion and Lethargy. On top of all that, in the wings are massive emerging eastern populations with energy and innate abilities that equal or surpass Jews.

...you shall be left few in numbers, whereas you were as the stars in heaven in multitude... (Deuteronomy 28-62)

Neo-Africanism: The New Ideology for a New Africa is a vision of an African renaissance grounded in traditional African philosophies of social harmony and mutual interdependence. The author calls for Africans to deconstruct the multiplicity of divisive and antagonistic political ideologies that have dominated Africa since the demise of colonialism and replace them with one harmonious and co-operative political ideology—Neo-Africanism—a unified ideology grounded in the social harmony and interdependence that characterized traditional African life. He shows how this ideology can be applied successfully to the politics, economics, education, and health care of Africa and how it can help create a New Africa—a reawakened, peaceful, and prosperous Africa highly regarded by all the nations of the world. The book is aimed at students of African studies, political science, philosophy, macroeconomics, and international relations, as well as the general population of Africans and the African political elite. Both undergraduate and graduate students will find the book helpful because of the comprehensive analysis and solutions to problems in the important areas of a nation. Unlike existing books, Neo-Africanism provides philosophical guidance that will empower the people of Africa to solve Africa’s problems and to acquire the capability to create sustainable peace and prosperity.

This objective and rigorous re-visiting of the history of the US as the world's super imperiaist and "mock" democracy comes at an opportune time. the book explains with logical integrity why the world is finally on the right path when it questions the true motives of Americans for invading Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Grenada, Cuba, Nicaragua, Panama, the Phiippines, Mexico, Canada and numerous other countries during its short history as a world power. Thos emotives, far from being its professed motives of spreading democracy and republican values, are those of military industrial complex determined to dominate the world and exploit its resources for the benefit of a small minority of Americans who owns the wealth of the US and exerts economic, military and political power in the US.

The book begins with the documentation of the exploitation of First Nations, Black Americans and poor White Americans by a small power elite, founded by the landed gentry of Virginia and the merchant class of Massachusetts, Philadelphia and New York. It explains the root cause of racism in the US and the deeply ingrained desire for war mongering in the American psyche. It explains why the positino of commander-in-chief has greater importance to American voters than the position of president and why the primary qualifications for the job of president is successful war mongering. The author takes its readers through the complicit aid of England and France in enabling the US to dominate the continent and how failure of European cooperation and two disatrous World Wars in the twentieth century enabled the US to dominate the world. The author also explains how and why the US media supports the domestic and world wide propaganda which conditions people, especially Americans, to believe the lies of American governments and reject all objective criticisms of US war mongering, commission war crimes around the world, overthrowing of democratically elected governments, installation of ruthless dictators, the spreading of global terrorism and the arming and military training of terrorists. The widely held naivety that the US believes in freedom of the press, free speech and peaceful expression of dissent, makes it difficult, if not impossible to convince people of the ruthless methods used by the US and its military might to crush worldwide democratic dissent.

This non-fiction book is written in a unique and authentic style with the greatest passion possible. Considered rousing and controversial, the material and sentiments are in no way sugar-coated. For with this honest style and the sharing of information, it is believed that there is real potential to affect change.

The author processes and purges the painful and crazy-making events of her life, illustrating bureaucracy at its worst. Elements of conspiracy, faulty investigation, toxic work environments and dealings with lawyers, judges and their unethical legal system are present. It is the book's premise that the societal issues of bullying and misuse of power are perpetuated by the government. It is all by design, facilitated by a faulty legal system.

Desiring her story to be more than outlining the many faults of the government, the complex societal problem is examined. Delving into others' stories, the magnitude of the problem is clearly identified. Extensive research into the problem of bullying and misuse of power is conducted. Movies, books and contemporary media are creatively used to understand the phenomenon. Many factions of society are critiqued. The lack of accountability is forefront. The essence of the battle of good versus evil presides.

Solution-based, The Brutal Truth is a tool to instill empowerment for change. References to others' works and specific methods addressing these issues, inclusive of an interactive organizational design, are highlighted.

About hope and survival, a battle is fought, and she is armed with The Brutal Truth.

Many political lies bury rational economic thought today.

The Federal Reserve bashed the American economy in the year 2000 because investments in the private stock market were paying much more than investments in federal debt (bills, notes, and bonds) at maturity. Their colossal alibi was to slow an 'overheating' economy. But their real purpose was to bring down the stock market and avoid a default of the national debt.

Economies do not overheat. Progressive taxes on personal income are passed to consumers by changes they create in supply and demand. Social security taxes are not shared by employers (corporate costs are forwarded to the market). Labor unions gain buying power by pushing minimum wage labor down (the national wage is finite). And monopolies always require political support. This information, while absolutely true, is not government approved.

A natural economy is superbly controlled by supply and demand. But career seeking politicians create inflation, stagflation, wage gaps, recession, and depression in their gross economic ignorance and self centered pursuit of political careers.

The author explains the economic interactions between private enterprise and political force. The political solution is a return to Laissez Faire. But can politicians arrive at economic truths before economic disaster befalls the nation? The depression Congress could not. And the new Congress is their clone.

This book does not take a neutral stand on the issue of mass unemployment. It is an effort to expose capitalism's most outrageous feature - its compulsive need to use unemployment and the fear of unemployment to ensure the docility and subservience of its workers. Under the capitalist system, the stick of the fear of unemployment is necessary to keep workers' noses to the grindstone and make them perform to the satisfaction of their employers. The stick is needed because much work is boring, the carrot paid is less than a living wage, provides workers very little or no control over the work process, and stifles creativity - in short because the total carrot offered to numerous workers is so woefully inadequate. Under a different system, one in which working people participated fully in the decisions affecting what, how and for what purpose goods and services were produced; if we had a system based on economic democracy, there would be no need to use the stick of the fear of unemployment. The creativity of most of the millions of working people, now mostly dormant, would be awakened and the volume and quality of improvements and inventions especially in housing, energy, transit systems and health care would be so great as to tower high above and completely overshadow the number and purpose of the innovations created under the present system.

The issue of unemployment is shrouded in half-truths and outright lies. As a result, there is almost total ignorance about the real causes of unemployment and worse still, about its very serious consequences. Many claim that there are enough jobs but that the unemployed are lazy and would rather be on welfare. While this may be true of a very small fraction of the unemployed, it is not true of the overwhelming majority. There have been numerous instances in which whenever advertisements calling for applicants for relatively well-paid jobs or for jobs that paid better than the minimum wage, the number of applicants that applied for those jobs were ten or more times greater than the number of jobs that were advertised.

In September 26th of 1984, to mention just one instance, the Associated Press News Agency reported that "50,000 people lined up for 350 jobs." The report went on to say that "the applicants, some of whom waited in line for two days, hope to land a longshoreman's job paying $15.45 an hour or a marine clerk's job earning $17.45 an hour... However the fact that only 350 jobs are currently available didn't dismay the crowd, which queued up in a line in the San Pedro district [of Los Angeles] that stretched for 13 mile..."

Clearly, the majority would rather have gainful employment at a living wage and live a life of dignity and integrity. Furthermore apart from the simple need to earn a living, productive employment is an indispensable part of the psychological makeup of human beings. Simply put, people want to feel useful. Prolonged joblessness is a serious threat to a person's self-esteem and destroying that self-esteem has appalling consequences.

The ugly truth is that the system under which we live will not or cannot provide jobs for those who need them. The business class is simply not interested in full employment because mass unemployment provides them with many benefits. Among those benefits: a large pool of unemployed workers drives down the wages employers have to pay.

Israel is probably the most confusing country in the world. Just about every aspect of life here is paradoxical. Israel is supposedly a Jewish country the way Thailand is Buddhist and Pakistan is Islamic. However, secularism prevails and most Israelis identify as Westerners in every way. Despite an ongoing Intifada (war) and the 2006 mini-war with the Lebanon-based Hizbullah guerilla army, the economy, led by the high tech sector, keeps growing by about 5% a year. On the other hand: corrupt politicians, pockets of poverty, plenty of crime, a deep rich-poor divide, strikes, scandals and governmental waste contribute to the impression that Israel is actually a Third World country in disguise. Israel is a nation under constant attack but everyday life is quite peaceful despite the tension. This is a land that is literally in the East but belongs to the Western world. Life here may be stressful, but the talent to overcome obstacles and the drive to succeed is great. Isreal in Reality is an attempt to explain the inherent contradictions of a complex nation-state whose five or more component populations disagree on almost every issue. Based on my thirty-eight years inside the Israeli melting pot, this book offers unconventional insights into the existential problems Israelis wrestle with every day.

The title of this book implies that democracy sometimes exists, but in name only. A discussion follows on what constitutes democracy; is there 'true' democracy? We look at problems of Social Justice, and Human Rights; and particularly at questions surrounding the politics of campaigns, and elections, in the United States. Campaigns that last much longer than in any other developed country; and how the influence of money in politics, has the potential for immense corruption. We also touch upon the association of religion and politics. Reference is also made to abuse of power, in politics, and reports on international intrigue, and conspiracies, around the world. Particular attention is paid to the chaos in Iraq, nearly six years into that long-lasting war; and problems in the entire Middle East. Reference is also made to increasing numbers of young Americans, killed, or wounded in Iraq; and ever increasing numbers of innocent Iraqis, and over 2 million who have become refugees; whilst the government standing in Iraq had remained ineffective. There are discussions on the environment against the background of reports on increased global warming. There are many references to comments by journalists, lecturers and other scholars, from different countries; and some important quotations, to keep in mind. They might help keep us on the right track. Finally, there is a brief account of experiments with democracy, in some parts of our world, throughout the history of humanity, on this planet. We refer to planet Earth, and to our Solar system, in a Universe, that is so vast, that it is beyond comprehension---are we that important? Are we significant?
