By Bonnie G. Molloy

Share the keen observational skills of writer Bonnie G. Molloy as she reveals the joy of small wonders. This series of books about key spiritual symbols, angels and crosses, is told from the candid perspective of a child's understanding of the church and God's world. Bonnie captures the distractions and curiosities of young children who are beginning their quest for more knowledge of some of God's greatest gifts: His messengers (angels) and His ultimate sacrifice on the cross. Children will learn, as the young boys in the stories did, how angels are God's messengers and how Palm Sunday is the exciting procession of God's son. Maybe adults will learn something, too! D.M.

An Spanish version of this book is also available from Trafford - El Ángel Escondído

"Santa Niclaus The Narth Pole Narth Pole, Heartsheaven, XOXOX

Dear Reader:

Greetings in the name of Jesus!

I'm writing to you especially, about being a Christian child at Christmas. I know it's probably difficult to understand when at times you see me, Santa, sitting in a mall or store visiting with children. Maybe your elders have told you that there is no such person as 'Santa'. Or maybe some elders have even gone so far as to say that 'Santa' is an evil creation, invented to take away from Jesus at Christmas.

But, you see so many parents lined up wit their children to see 'Santa'! And so many are laughing and having fun! You hear the children shout the name 'Santa Claus' with glee and they're so excited they look like they're going to bust!

'Santa' smiles and picks up a child onto his lap and asks the child what his or her name is, and if he or she has been good all year. Then he wants to know what the child wants for Christmas!

In most cases a picture is taken for a lasting memory of child and 'Santa'. And 'Santa' is so nice!

How can anything be wrong with that you might wonder?

Nothing is wrong with it! At least not on the surface. There's absolutely nothing wrong with making children happy. Watching their faces light up with genuine joy is the greatest moments in human history, past and present. And if there could ever be a future when all God's children smile and laugh all the time it would be a glorious future! If they could have everything they want and everything they want is good for them, it would be heaven. That is what a good Christian Santa wants for all children and he wants them all to know that ALL good things come from God.

The only problem is that until we all go to be with Jesus in Heaven and while we live on this earth there will always be hard times. There will always be people with children in need and the children will suffer. Many children will not even have enough food, clothing or shelter. And of course they most certainly won't have enough books, music, or toys.

Many times that is what is wrong with the typical 'Santa' whom you see visiting in the local mall or store. Many times the mall or store that hired him expects him to hear only the material needs and desires of the children he talks with. And they want to sell the parents that moment of Christmas cheer caught in a photograph of their child sitting on 'Santa's' lap. Of course the price goes up every year. it's all about sales which is all about money."

The idea for Santa Celebrates Jesus' Birthday came about when a small group of Christian parents were brainstorming ideas to keep all the "magic" of Santa Claus for their kids, while not diluting the real reason for the season, the birth of God's Son Jesus Christ. One of the parents said "I just tell my kids that Santa is this guy who is really excited about Jesus' birthday, so every year he gives out toys to kids as part of the celebration". After subsequent research revealed that the similarities between the real Saint Nicholas and the traditional myths about Santa Claus were amazingly similar, the inspiration for a book that would merge the two ideas together was born. The hope that the author has for this book is that parents would use this book as a springboard to teach their children about Jesus Christ, using the all too familiar imaginative figure of Santa Claus.

I have wanted to write and illustrate a simple little children's book in rhyming verse for a long time and the loss of my sister to cancer in 2001 gave me the inspiration and motivation to stop dreaming about it and make it a reality. With the wonderful publishing choices made available through Trafford Publishing, Inc. I was able to make that dream come true!

I hope this little children's book will give innocent young minds a positive influence in developing their consciences and help them make the world a better place. I also hope that this is the kind of book parents will read to their little children and one which young children will read themselves as one of their first books.

The young boy had a conception of life that no experience would ever erase - a predilection for what was real. He started out with a multitude of adversity. He was very poor, raised by a single parent, and he was a "Black Boy."

All mingled into one, the young boy had pride, and he got joy out of defeating an enemy, living up to the enemy's worst expectations, the wonder of his growth, and the determination to follow the track through to the end. His enemy was the world, and he got gratification out of defeating the people who said that he would never amount to anything. Some people gossiped that he would never meet his father. Some people alleged that he would never make it out of school. However, he did!

He awakes with a loud cry as though having been "slapped out of the human race." After sounding the maximum danger of the journey, the mother started to cry and pray.

OH LORD, OH LORD, THANK YOU FOR ALL THINGS! I COME TO YOU AS HUMBLE AS I KNOW HOW. I KNOW THAT I HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF YOUR GLORY. I HAD A CHILD AND I'M VERY YOUNG AND I UNDERSTAND THAT I CAN'T TAKE IT BACK. I JUST NEED YOUR HELP. I COME TO YOU TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS AND STRENGTH TO CONTINUE ON. HERE I AM LORD. I'VE MADE A REAL MESS OF MY LIFE. I'VE HURT OTHERS AND MYSELF. I DON'T WANT TO STAY THIS WAY. I'M SO SORRY FOR ALL THE WRONG THINGS I DID, AND ALL THE PAIN I'VE CAUSED. I TRUST IN YOUR FORGIVENESS OF ME. AS I REPENT OF THE PAST AND TURN TO GO YOUR WAY, LORD, MAY I GROW.

Pele'yah--that's Pe to rhyme with heh, Le with just a hint of lay, and Yah as in Hallelu-yah, with the stress on the last symbol--is a donkey's view of the person of Jesus as told through a young woman's eyes about the sacrificial systems of Israel in the first century. The story is suitable for children as young as 5, though 8 and above is an easier read. The book teaches a little of the Hebrew language and letters, and plausible aspects of first century history with respect to the construction of the temple and the sacrificial system. It also deals with violence and recovery, and with death.

One parent remarked, "People will learn something of religion from this story."

A study guide with references to the Biblical allusions, a historical timeline and source material is provided at http://www.peleyah.ca

Ever wondered what our planet would be like with no manners? This book tells the story of three words: Please, Thank you, and Sorry, who are forced to leave Dictionary because they've fallen into disuse. In a last-ditch attempt to persuade people to use them again -- and thereby to save themselves from death -- they enter the real world of mankind as tiny holograms in human form.

However, no sooner have they arrived here, than they encounter the Heart Angel, who has a shocking mesage for them. It's then that they discover the threat to man's survival, and their own true purpose in this world. but the question is -- do they have what it takes to achieve it?

The book takes these characters through life-threatening adventures as they seek to help human beings in general, and three needy individuals in particular. And just when they think they've succeeded in their tasks, they're brought face to face with the daunting truth --

...which is, that only now can their REAL mission begin...

This book is packed with action, humour, suspense and drama -- and though written in the first place for children, it contains enough serious thinking material for readers of all ages.

Do YOU really think the words "please", "thank you" and "sorry" are a waste of time? Then we challenge you to read The Words that Changed the World -- and think again...

Most of us have heard about the powerful Samson, famous for his super strength, and how he fought and killed lions, how he fought the Philistines with a jaw of a dead animal, and moved the pillars that held the great temple together. But have you ever wondered how his childhood would be like?

This humorous book is about Samson, as a ten-year-old boy, living in today's world. The story tells of Samson living with his wealthy uncle Nelson in a mansion in a small town called Dan. The mansion housed many staff with colourful characters, such as Lulu the cook, who never stops giggling and talking, Zara, the waitress, who waits to the last minute to wee, before she then flies into the nearest available toilet, even if it's the gents. Zara would dance strategically to prevent wetting herself. And there is also Razor and Raymond, the twins who can't stop arguing each other. Oh! I mustn't forget to mention Ralph, who is employed to run the house, and who wanted at all cost, to get his hands on Nelson's wealth, but how far will he go?

A touching story, with delightful illustrations, about cancer, treatment, and the hand of God; a story of purpose and hope. This story was born out of a real life event. The author's mother was diagnosed with brain cancer in May 2003. She underwent surgery immediately and then started treatments. As her mother's 59th birthday approached in June 2003 the author wished to give something of value, depth and hope. This story was the result. The story itself was truly given of God. The illustrations are by the author's youngest daughter, then 8 years old.

For the next 12 months this story served as a sort of script for the author's mother's life. As time went on and more people read the book, it became clear this is a story for many people. This is a book that would offer hope and strength to those facing the journey of cancer and healing - both the individual and the family that supports them. It is a story for young and old alike.

The Parable of the Flower is a beautiful picture of the reality that there is great value and purpose in the life of one who has cancer. God has a plan and will always be faithful.
