Hot Diggity Doggerels is aimed at the dog-loving child in all of us. The illustrations are straight from my heart, and the jokes are too. Dogs are exceptional creatures with “very private” lives. I think they have relationships and play ball and go to parties all without us being aware of their whereabouts. This book is a supposition of a life led by dogs I know. The names and situations have been changed in order to protect the innocent. No animals or people were harmed in the making of this book. Both Freddie and Jet tell me that they enjoyed the experience very much.

Dear Reader, Within these pages are events that really did take place, over a five year period, on our 100 acre farm in Verulam Township, Victoria County, Ontario, that we hadnamed "Active Acres". These stories will evoke laughter, and some may bring tears to your eyes as they recount the way "food" was grown on this farm firstly for private consumption then available as "Farmgate Sales". Some of these memorable stories were sad and hard for me to write down, but most are full of laughs, fondly remembered, and just plain fun to retell. Some are age old scenarios, and others will have seasoned farmers just shaking their heads. In these chapters I have recounted the joys and sorrows, the trials and tribulations, our everyday life as two first time farmers and our animals like Cloudy the horse, Heidi the apple loving cow and her unusual partner Joey, and what we all had to go through (and put up with!) in order to make life on the farm worthwhile. There's even pictures!

This book is a collection of short stories about water-related happenings with pets, written by their owners and contributed for publication in Wet Pets to help support the Camden-Rockport Animal Rescue League (CRARL) and its no-kill shelter in Rockport, Maine. All proceeds from the sale of the book will go to CRARL. The editors of the volume are volunteers, each with writing and publishing experience. Most of the 50 stories in the collection include photographs of the subjects described. Animal lovers everywhere will be drawn to these recollections of watery adventures with beloved pets. Those passionate about sailing will be rewarded with images of boats, sea, and shore. Children and adults alike will appreciate these tales of cats, dogs, and ducks and the glimpes they provide into the lives of their people companions. This project reflects volunteerism at its best. It is a tribute to all who care about animals. It ensures that the pets of the contributing authors will be held in loving memory into the future. Most importantly, these stories will help to support shelter animals until they can be adopted into loving homes.

Purring Angels, the book for cat-lovers Cats are wonderful. We can learn so much from them. In the first part of "Purring Angels" you will read all about my seven kitties: Daimke and Catje, who have had such a difficult start in their lives. Chummy, my golden eyed British Gentleman. Puddie, the eldest, writes beautiful letters with much wisdom to his pen friends. Donsje, the sweetest cat on earth becomes a real film star. Mickje who was thrown over the gate, thin and injured, learned how it is to be loved. Tommeke, my 'wild' Belgian Forest Cat who joins us later. He is incredible and he loves us with all his heart. Luckje who stayed only for a year. I tell about stray cats and the good work the people who take care of them do. Just read what happened to Ophelia? Do you know the cat goddess Bastet and Saint Francis? There are wonderful poems and stories all over the book. The ones about the Rainbow Bridge give so much comfort. In the second part of the book I tell about Anorexia. It was my animals who saved me by urging me to fight and eat. The next chapters deal with the upbringing of cats and include many interesting facts about cats. Read the lovely stories from the Cats Confidential Newsletter. I inserted quotations from the Bible and the Koran. FAB, the Feline Advisory Bureau allowed me to use their leaflets about feline diseases and hazardous plants. Part of the proceeds will go to kittens in distress.
