In 1973, abortion was legalized in the United States as a health service to a woman, should her pregnancy be life threatening. It was also legalized to halt child abuse and acts of rape and incest. Plus, abortion was legalized to reduce the number of teenage pregnancies and to prevent handicapped babies being born. Abortion has failed because child abuse has increased 1000 percent and many future, wanted babies, are born handicapped anyway, due to having an abortion. Instead, abortion has become a form of birth control and relief of financial responsibility.

The abortion industry, unlike hospitals, is not monitored or scrutinized by rules or regulations. They operate with a free hand, not having to answer to anyone. Often women are coerced into signing a release form relieving clinics and/ or an abortionist from all responsibilities.

Women have been duped into thinking that abortion is an easy procedure; that it is safe, with no adverse reactions. But the truth of the matter is the biological clock governs every phase of a woman's reproductive system. The biological clock in a pregnancy cannot be interrupted by a trauma, such as an abortion, without a malfunction. The abortion procedure may be over, but the pregnancy, technically, is not over; so what happens now? Abortion creates a malfunction in a woman's body, due to an unfinished pregnancy. This malfunction erupts as a complication physically, mentally or emotionally. There are over 100 complications that can occur, from a simple one to a major complication, and one that can last a lifetime.
