BIOSynergenics: Guerrilla Anti-Aging keeps it real. . .only better !!!

In their quest to retain a youthful appearance and fight the aging process, appearance-conscious, vanity-oriented Baby Boomer's and Generation X-er's are turning more than ever before to plastic surgery, Botox® injections, dermabrasion, chemical and laser peels, and other cosmetic procedures, spending millions upon millions of dollars every year.

However, each of those procedures carries with it an inherent risk of danger possible complications from anesthesia and the risk of adverse and irreversible side effects deformity, infection, scarring, pigmentation changes, nerve and muscle injury, etc. And they, and millions of others who cannot afford those expensive cosmetic procedures, are also spending billions of dollars every year on expensive anti-aging lotions, potions and creams, each of which claims to be THE definitive cure.

BIOSynergenics: Guerrilla Anti-Aging offers the readers a natural, safe, painless, inexpensive alternative to the knife and needle. In BIOSynergenics: Guerrilla Anti-Aging, Karen Gomez takes the readers on an entertaining journey through a 24-hour day, filled with fascinating factoids and personal anecdotal side-trips. This book is a collection of the best "anti-aging secrets" from her 30-year life experiment with "New Age," as well as ancient, natural anti-aging methods and techniques for both prevention and rejuvenation.

Beauty comes from within, starting with how you feel about yourself. After a short lesson on how to make that small, but critical, attitude adjustment, BIOSynergenics: Guerrilla Anti-Aging offers the reader a diverse array of simple, unconventional anti-aging techniques that take only a few minutes a day, are literally at your fingertips, and cost absolutely nothing! BIOSynergenics: Guerrilla Anti-Aging combines elements of the ancient principles of Zen, yoga, color/light therapy, acupressure, reflexology, herbal therapy and naturopathy, with contemporary methods, practices and techniques such as visualization, imagery, "the power of positive thinking," autosuggestion, "self-speak" (what we say to ourselves), with proper breathing techniques, proper skin care, facial exercises, facial massage, and a healthy diet, including vitamins, minerals, supplements, and exercise that, when practiced on a regular basis, can be a renewal or rejuvenation program.

Complimenting the anti-aging techniques to be used without, BIOSynergenics: Guerrilla Anti-Aging also contains a diverse array of simple anti-aging techniques to be used within, to minimize free radical damage which is now believed to be the primary cause of aging. By controlling stress and eliminating negativity, utilizing deep breathing exercises, eating properly combined foods at the proper time of the day, avoiding food additives, preservatives and hydrogenated fats, and using other techniques described throughout the book, free radical damage can be kept to a minimum, thereby preventing the structural damage from cellular injury and breakdown which is the cumulative result of free radical damage the wrinkled skin, stiff joints and hardened arteries of old age.

What makes BIOSynergenics: Guerrilla Anti-Aging so unique is its author. Go to any bookstore, and you will find two types of books on beauty and anti-aging the book written by the M.D. or Ph.D. which is based solely upon his or her scientific research findings (who usually do not visually typify their findings), and the book "written" by the celebrity du jour, whose recognizable face (after spending how much on plastic surgery, expensive cosmetic procedures, and professional make-up artists???) and name are used to market and sell the book.

Karen Gomez is not a researcher, scientist or celebrity, but just a regular, everyday person, who at the age of 51, after conducting her 30-year life experiment, is living proof that the techniques and methods contained in BIOSynergenics: Guerrilla Anti-Aging really do work.

Before considering any type of cosmetic surgery or procedure, and before spending another dollar on expensive anti-aging lotions, potions and creams, give BIOSynergenics: Guerrilla Anti-Aging techniques a try. It is natural, safe and painless, and won't cost anything but a few minutes of your time each day. BIOSynergenics: Guerrilla Anti-Aging is your "Blueprint for Optimal Health and Anti- Aging!"

Remember: You're never too young or too old to start using BIOSynergenics! BIOSynergenics: Guerrilla Anti-Aging keeps it real. . .only better !!!

The Meaning of Health paints a definitive picture of what health really looks like from the outside, and inspires you by what it truly feels like from the inside. It illustrates how your body, mind, and soulful awareness award you with a greater appreciation of all physical treatments, mental techniques, and spiritual practices.

As a healthy reminder, The Meaning of Health brings to light how your level of intention is the key to the enduring success and enjoyment of all wholesome endeavours. Then, it directly reveals why your level of attention shapes the quality of your experience in good times and bad.

To avoid the false promise of a cookbook prescription, The Meaning of Health skirts around the how-to lecture, flashing a provocative why-to grin that reflects the wisdom-tools within yourself. When you know in your heart the meaning of health, then you will know what to do, and naturally do it with healing in mind.

The pay-off in facing the pain in your life is in the time and money saved on cosmetic cures. But don't take it on faith. Take a chance on this behind-the-scenes look at life's divine comedy of double entendres, double-takes, and catch-22s.

The Meaning of Health is a must read for anyone concerned with the well-being of children, students, or patients, because the purpose and love in your own life are all you really have to inspire and guide anyone else.

"It's never too late to be ahead of your time."

The Meaning of Health sees far beyond the mechanics of conventional and alternative health care. It values your decisions prior to your diagnosis and honours your perceptions long after your prognosis. It clearly points out that the purpose of facing unavoidable pain is to prevent needless suffering.

The Meaning of Health demands a higher context of all scientific, psychological, and spiritual evidence through deeper insights of body, mind, and soul. Then, it excavates the remains of the ancient wisdom and scientific concepts that tend to get lost in the translation.

Recognizing the inherent purpose in your own life assures you a sense of purpose in all of existence. This direct inner knowledge busts through the conflicting and confusing expert advice, making all problems and solutions a little more meaningful.

Feeling the unconditional love within your own nature affirms in you the benevolent support from all of nature. This mature inner love gives you a sense of belonging that lessens your longing, and looking for love in all the wrong places.

Taking responsibility for your own well-being gives you the courage to trust in your innate biological and spiritual healing. This internal strength eases the need for abusing any physical, financial, or authoritative power.

Recapturing your inner freedom releases your enslavement to neuroses, disabilities, and peer pressures, giving you hope for the possible and faith in the probable. This genuine joy also unlocks your sights from the limitations of others to freely see their solemn promise and sacred sovereignty.

It's this living experience of purpose, love, responsibility, and freedom-at the levels of body, mind, and soulÑthat serves up an all-inclusive helping of health that forever satisfies. Of course, the meaning of good and evil, nature and nurture, and science and religion naturally come up when defusing the dispute over mind and matter. However, it's your evolving awareness that is most important for dealing with pain, lessening mistakes, and making all internal debate a little less daunting.

The endless search for the ultimate fix eases up, while the ceaseless struggle for absolute answers calms down, with the inner certainty that you knew all along. The Meaning of Health is written on many levels in a poetic style to induce your imagination wherever you happen to be. A deliberate read, with breaks for contemplation and discussion, helps the digestion of this soul food for thought.

"By sharing my childhood insights about purpose, love, responsibility, and freedom, I confirm that we all share an innate sense for healthy living, if needing only some context, consensus, and clarification."

This book informs the reader of the major preventative health recommendations now practiced by the medical community. Prior to the middle of the last century medical care was primarily episodic. Patients did not see their doctor until they were acutely ill. Now, the advances in medical knowledge of disease processes and the availability of improved diagnostic techniques and treatments have focused medical practice on the prevention of disease. In other words, before the occurrence of a heart attack, stroke, diabetes, and even cancer, there are detectable underlying disorders which, when discovered and treated early, can prevent life limiting disease. Four underlying disorders, namely, high blood pressure, abnormal blood lipids, elevated blood sugar and overweight are major risk factors for the chronic diseases. Five chronic diseases, namely, coronary artery disease, cancer, lung disease, stroke and diabetes are responsible for 80 per cent of deaths in the American population. This book presents a preventive care plan in seven steps designed to counter these risk factors and diseases, and extend both the length and quality of life. The seven steps are discussed as separate chapters: Exercise, Weight, Health Evaluation, Non-prescription Agents, A Medical Approach, A Surgical Approach and "Preventive-Preventive Care."

Doctors have learned that the chronic diseases associated with aging usually do not start in older age, but often are present by middle age and younger. Then, changes in lifestyle and early treatment to control the known risk factors and underlying disorders are most effective in extending both the length and quality of life. This book will provide pertinent medical information for the reader to embrace a "golden challenge" of preventive care to know and to fully enjoy the rewarding "golden years" ahead.

In this book, my hope is that you will find your personal answer to the question that the title asks: "Whatever happened to 'the good life?'" Along the way you will also find an opportunity to determine your own "RQ" or "recreational quotient" based on involvement (or lack of same) in a broad spectrum of recreational pursuits. After doing this and seeing where you score personally, you can then take the necessary steps -- if you wish -- to raise your Recreation Quotient ("RQ"). Further, this discussion of your leisure-time involvement will be related to society's development.

The "test" or "assessment" of your recreational quotient ("RQ") is based on a scale moving from passive, to vicarious, to active, to creative involvement in life's many educational and recreational activities. It gives you more credit if you are a most interested onlooker or listener rather than a passive one. Additionally, you will score even higher if you actively take part in a particular recreational activity. The highest rating goes to the person who participates in a superior and/or creative fashion.

Why should this subject concern you? It should because one development of modern society has been that people are increasingly crowded together in heavily populated urban and suburban communities. This has created a serious problem. We now need to know how people can find happiness, satisfaction, and a high quality of life despite the increased tempo of living often amidst such badly crowded conditions?

With advancing civilization North Americans have been accused of being afflicted with spectatoritis (i.e. spending too much of their free time watching others taking part in some form of activity, recreational or otherwise). Obviously, this practice is not something that should be encouraged too extensively. It is the unfortunate truth that throughout history people in many societies have misused leisure after they have earned it. In certain instances this misuse of free time has actually had much to do with the downfall of that society.

Studies have shown that people are concerned about whether they are getting sufficient pleasure out of life. We know, also, that sound recreational pursuits can add zest and vigor to our lives. The resulting question revolves about whether we will be able to encourage people of all ages to get involved in a variety of recreational pursuits actively and creatively.

We can all appreciate further that there are many ways of looking at the subject of recreation. However, although we could determine averages (or norms) for a given population in regard to types of recreational pursuits followed, it just doesn't seem advisable in a free society to set standards that people should follow.

I firmly believe that a person's value system will -- and should -- undergird basically any choices that he or she may make about which types of recreational pursuit to follow. Accordingly in the Appendix, you will have an opportunity to assess yourself "socio-culturally" and "philosophically" in this respect.

So there you have it. I hope this book will help to broaden your perspective on the whole question of lesire. I hope, also, that you will consider, and then perhaps even reconsider, this important matter of putting quality recreational time in your life to just the right amount. It's a challenge, of course, but it should be great fun to work it out personally. The "good life" is still out there, but you will have to plan -- oh so carefully!--to achieve it. Good luck -- and "good planning!"

Americans are bombarded with so many rationales and diets that many among us reflect a confusion of choices that has little to do with the actual experience of food effects on our bodies. We can become so busy gathering knowledge that we have no energy or motivation to see the relationship between our food choices and our general well being.

This book neither promotes nor pans any existing diets. Instead, readers will find it useful as a guide to help decide which foods and manners of eating are best for them. The Tao of Eating reflects a way of living in harmony with all that we call life; it does not describe the process. Rather, it mirrors the philosophy of the Tao Te Ching: that living is deepened and informed by our turning inward and tapping into stillness as a source of clarity. The chapters are intended to be used as daily readings (or occasional readings.) They are not meant to be read all at once but, rather, assimilated and integrated over time and in harmony with the reader's needs.

The content was derived through comparison of 14 translations of the Tao Te Ching,by Lao Tzu, and through the use of supportive Taoist literature, all of which is listed in the bibliography. Since I do not read Chinese, and because each translator views the Tao from an individual's perspective, I used these several translations to gain a sense of the original content of each chapter.

The Tao is notably paradoxical; it speaks through the metaphor of water, which, while soft and apparently passive, can effortlessly wear away or break stone. Water enters a stagnant pool as readily as it does a flowing stream. Guided by Tao, no challenge is too great; all chaos can be transformed and harmonized. This approach applies to eating as well, and it serves to simplify and clarify the complexities and confusion inherent in America's foods and diets.

Warrior's Way: Strength and Fitness "Secrets" of Ancient Warrior Societies

EXERCISING WITHOUT EXERCISES?
What if there were no "natural" athletes?

What if you could learn the "secrets" of men and of women who knew how to keep their bodies hard and battle-ready in ages when battle was an individual test of endurance and of raw physical power and of athletic ability? Where gymnasiums and regular physical exercises weren't available. Where in battle the weak died first and "mighty men of war" ruled the world. What if there was a second muscle control system built into our bodies, that must be "turned on by an act of will", that's designed to exercise our bodies 24 hours a day. What if all "naturally" strong, fit people who don't seem to exercise use it. What if you could teach yourself to use this "system" and then join them? What if you never find out how?

Race along with Navajo Indian Ben Singer on a desperate quest to master the super-power, super-strength secrets of ancient warriors. Learn along with Ben as Axelron, Ben's time-traveling mentor, teaches you to energize key muscle groups that force your body to exercise itself gently, steadily, 24 hours a day to build a body packed with the physical power and grace that only "natural" athletes can command.

Your best friend won't tell you how to do it, but Ben Singer will. Ben is taught, and you can learn with him. We don't need such power now, but Ahhhhhh...wouldn't it be nice to have it anyway...

Nature has not made these people your "natural" superiors. You have deliberately made yourself inferior to them by not using this gift nature has given all of us DON'T BE WIMPY ANOTHER DAY...JOIN BEN SINGER ALONG THE "WARRIOR'S WAY"
